ALBANY, NY (11/07/2007)(readMedia)-- State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) Commissioner Karen M. Carpenter-Palumbo will be discussing the findings of two recently released surveys conducted by OASAS on the gambling behaviors of adults and adolescents.
Commissioner Carpenter-Palumbo’s keynote address will take place at 1:15 p.m. at the 9th Annual Conference on Problem Gambling at the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch Hotel, 1717 Motor Parkway, in Hauppauge.
The New York Council on Problem Gambling’s 9th Annual Conference, which is taking place from November 7-8, is recognized as one of the leading conferences in the state that addresses the issue of problem gambling. This year's conference program offers renowned speakers and a variety of workshops throughout each day.
