Jennifer Stehlar, Mrs. New York American Beauty 2008, is featured in the public service announcements. She and her father were involved in two serious motor vehicle crashes in which she would have potentially died if she was not wearing her seat belt. A strong advocate for seat belt use, the platform Mrs. Stehlar uses while competing around the country is motor vehicle and seat belt safety.
