DETAILS: Hundreds of exhibits featuring the latest fire, rescue, and emergency medical services apparatus, tools, equipment, and services available to purchase or order, education programs with nationally renowned emergency services leaders from many major metropolitan fire departments including New York City, Washington, D.C., Phoenix, and Chicago, an intense Hands-On Training Program where students operate in full protective equipment and learn in a realistic fireground environment, and networking events for emergency services personnel. Conference attendees travel from throughout the state of New York, the northeastern United States, and Canada to attend this event each year. Over 280 exhibiting companies from across the United States and Canada will be exhibiting. The conference and expo is expected to draw 15,000 attendees and visitors to the area. One Day Tickets for entrance to the exhibits are only $5.00 and can be purchased on-site during exhibit hours at the exhibit area on Beach Road.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

HANDS-ON TRAINING PROGRAM: An excellent opportunity for photos and footage, Hands-On Training includes lectures and realistic fireground training with multiple stations running at the same time throughout the day. Some stations include live fire training. Students will be wearing full firefighter protective gear and will be using a variety of tools and equipment, completing drills in a vacant hotel structure in an environment that simulates conditions faced on the fireground.

WHERE: Site of the former Howard Johnson Hotel, just off Exit 19 of I-87, Queensbury, NY

HOW: Valid media credentials. For safety, the training site is closed to the public. The media is required to check-in at the small building near the front parking lot (located in front of the abandoned hotel). A public information officer will be available at the training site.

EXHIBITS: Over 280 exhibitors offering a wide array of apparatus, products, and services. Industry displays will include fire trucks, public safety equipment, tools, new firefighting technologies, emergency medical services (EMS) equipment, etc.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Each year, the association pays tribute to its members who have passed away and those New York state firefighters who have been lost in the line of duty during this very moving ceremony.
