ST. LOUIS, MO (09/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Missouri Baptist University recognized midfielder Megan Huffman as the Spartan Athlete of the Week after the two goals she scored against Milligan College helped the women's soccer team earn its first win of the season.

Huffman is a junior from St. Charles, Mo., who is majoring in exercise science.

MBU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and has received the distinction of being an NAIA Champions of Character institution for the past 10 years. The Spartans compete in the American Midwest Conference.
