Meilyng Gonzalez Adams Awarded Scholarships at Penn State Behrend
ERIE, PA (11/02/2010)(readMedia)-- Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, awarded Meilyng Gonzalez Adams, from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, three scholarships: a Mildred S. Bunton and Calvin H. Waller Undergraduate Fellowship, a Lawrence and Elizabeth Held Scholarship, and an Irvin Kochel Leadership Scholarship. Gonzalez Adams is a freshman business major.
To date for the 2010-11 academic year, Penn State Behrend has awarded nearly 500 Penn State Behrend-specific scholarships, totaling $1.2 million. Penn State Behrend awards scholarships based on academic achievement, financial need, leadership abilities and for study abroad opportunities.
