Penn State Behrend Student LaTisha Perry Studying Abroad in Florence
Murrysville native enrolls in Ancient and Medieval History program
ERIE, PA (09/13/2013)(readMedia)-- LaTisha Perry, of Murrysville, has traveled to Florence, Italy, to join the Ancient and Medieval History program at the International Studies Institute. She will participate in an archeological excavation in Fiesole, a small town two miles north of Florence, where Longobard tombs rich in gold grave goods have been found above the ruins of a Roman settlement.
Perry, a sophomore, is studying business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. The college offers semester-long study-abroad programs; the 2012-13 school year included trips to London, Rome, Span and Costa Rica.
