MACON, GA (06/10/2011)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored graduating senior Kelly M. Nightingale of Athens at its 2011 Honors Convocation. Nightingale received the Outstanding Senior in Literary Studies Award. Nightingale graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree and University Honors from Mercer's College of Liberal Arts on May 14.

Nightingale is the daughter of Michael and Mary Beth Nightingale of Athens.
