MACON, GA (05/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored Jan Jones of Climax at its 2012 Honors Convocation. Jones received the Sophia Oxley Clark Williams Outstanding Great Books Essay Award.
On May 12, Jones graduated from Mercer's College of Liberal Arts magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in art history and education.
Jones is the daughter of Jerry and Jill Jones of Climax.
