MACON, GA (05/31/2013)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored Kerstie Sims of Douglasville at its 2013 Honors Convocation. Sims received the Most Outstanding Middle Grades Graduate Award.

On May 11, Sims graduated from Mercer's Tift College of Education with a major in Middle Grades Education (4-8) Science and Social Studies.

Sims is the daughter of Dwayne and Darlene Atkinson.
