MACON, GA (06/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored Angela Barnett of Hiram at the University's 2011 Honors Convocation in Macon. Barnett received the 2011 Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Barnett graduated with a Master of Education degree in early childhood education from the Tift College of Education at the University's Atlanta commencement on May 14.

Barnett is the daughter of Emery and Sandra Miller.
