MACON, GA (05/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored Katelyn Harrell of Thomasville at the 2012 Honors Convocation. Harrell received the Outstanding Senior in Literary Studies Award and the Outstanding Student in Creative Writing Award. Harrell graduated summa cum laude from the College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in English on May 12.

Harrell is the daughter of Charles and Janet Harrell.
