Michael Border named Outstanding Senior Man at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, OH (05/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Michael Border of Strongsville, Ohio was named Outstanding Senior Man during the University of Mount Union's annual Senior Recognition and Honors Convocation held Tuesday, April 19.

A biochemistry major, Border's campus activities include American Chemical Society, Fellowship for Christian Athletes, Student Senate, Pre-Health Professions Club, Alpha Lambda Delta, Sophomore Service, Raider Relief, Raider Programming Board, First Year Experience, Scholastic Achievement Coalition and Blue Key Honor Society. Border, who serves as the 2011 senior class president, has been named to the dean's list numerous times. He is a graduate of Strongsville High School.

These awards have been presented to deserving seniors for more than 30 years. Nominations are based upon leadership, citizenship, service and scholarship.
