MILLERSVILLE, PA (09/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Michael Eshleman, of Willow Street, Pa., has been selected to receive The Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. (SBI) scholarship. Eshleman will graduate from Penn Manor High School and attend Millersville University of Pennsylvania this fall to study speech communication with a concentration in broadcasting.
The SBI recipient is awarded in the amount of $1,014 to be applied to tuition. It is an award based upon the recipient's high school GPA, extra-curricular activity involvement and standardized test scores.
Eshleman was very active in his church youth group. He and his church peers assisted with activities that helped those in the City of Lancaster. He participated in three church work camps, in various cities, with home renovations such as painting and carpentry.
