Miller Selected for Board of Directors of Statewide School Association

ALBANY, NY (10/27/2008)(readMedia)-- The School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS) is pleased to announce that Andrea Miller, middle school principal at Carthage Middle School in Carthage, NY, has been selected to serve on its board of directors. Miller will represent SAANYS' Region 7, which includes Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.

Miller has served in several capacities in the education community for 30 years, 31 of those years in the Carthage Central School District. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Penn State University, a master's in counselor education from the University of Scranton, a master's in school psychology and C.A.S. in school administration from St. Lawrence University.

Executive Director Kevin Casey commented, "SAANYS is pleased to have Andrea join the board of directors. Her experience is sure to bring new insight and perspective to the organization."
