Milwaukie Native Presents at Murdock Conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Milwaukie native Lauren Kutler recently presented her research on graph theory mathematics at the annual Murdock College Science Research Conference, which took place at Whitman College this year. More than 400 students and faculty from colleges throughout the Northwest gathered for the conference, and students presented results from research they had conducted at their home institutions, summer internships or elsewhere. She conducted research with Professor Patrick Bahls at the University of North Carolina Asheville.
Kutler is the daughter of Keith Kutler and Stephanie Ricker from Milwaukie. She is a 2009 graduate of Rex Putnam High School.
At Whitman, Kutler is a senior mathematics and philosophy double major, and she is an avid volunteer for the school's community service programs.
