AURORA, IL (04/23/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University senior outfielder Mike Foley (Mokena, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) was named Northern Athletics Conference Baseball Position of the Week for the week ending April 21, 2013.
Foley led AU to a 5-1 week, hitting .440 with a double, seven runs batted in and seven runs scored. He hit safely in all six games to extend his streak to 12, had a .480 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage.
On the season, Foley is hitting .292 with one home run, one triple, four doubles, 19 runs batted in and 18 runs scored. He has a .361 on-base percentage and .377 slugging percentage.
Next action for the Spartan baseball team, currently 18-9 overall and 12-4 in the NAC, comes on Saturday, April 27 when they travel to Maranatha Baptist Bible College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. in Watertown, Wis.
