Mon/Fayette Expressway work scheduled in Luzerne Twp., Fayette County
NEW STANTON, PA (09/08/2010)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike alerts motorists and area residents that a section of Bull Run Road between Third Street and Craft Moore Road in Luzerne Township will be closed starting at 11 p.m. Fri., Sept.10 through 9 p.m. Sun., Sept. 12 and 11 p.m. Fri., Oct. 1 through 9 p.m. Sun., Oct. 3.
Weather Permitting: each closure will allow crews from the general contractor Mashuda Corp. to place the concrete deck on the bridges over Bull Run Road as part of the ongoing construction of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Uniontown to Brownsville Phase II, Section 51G project.
The posted detour will be as follows:
Bull Run Road to Hopewell Road to Thornton Road to National Pike (Route 40) to Third Avenue to Spring Street to Market Street to Bull Run Road
