GEORGETOWN, TX (03/06/2014)(readMedia)-- Montana Steele of Coppell received the 2014 David Knox Porter Pre-Theology Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

The award is given annually to the outstanding pre-theological student and is named after Southwestern University alumnus Rev. David Knox Porter.

Steele received the award at the University's Honors Convocation March 5.

Steele is graduating from Southwestern in May with a degree in religion.
