Morgan Bailey of McKinney Receives Award from Southwestern University
GEORGETOWN, TX (03/01/2012)(readMedia)-- Morgan Bailey of McKinney received the 2012 Lancaster Award in Studio Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
Bailey received the award at the University's Honors Convocation Feb. 25.
The award was established in memory of the late Robert L. Lancaster, sculptor and chair of the Art Department in The Sarofim School of Fine Arts. Selection of the recipient of the award is made on the basis of a portfolio judged by the entire art faculty and the dean of The Sarofim School of Fine Arts.
