Mullet Madness, Braid Bonanza and Ponytail Primping Make for Iowa State Fair Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/26/2010)(readMedia)-- Ribbons were awarded in the Pigtail, Ponytail and Braid Contest Sunday at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. Length of hair was the chief criterion in the ponytail and pigtail classes, while the number of braids determined the most braids winner.

The much-loved Mullet contest, now in its fourth year, looked at the contrast between "business" (short in the front) and "party" (length in the back).
