ALBANY, NY (08/20/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), the State's student financial aid agency, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 on the proposed New York Higher Education Loan Program (NYHELPs) regulation. The proposed regulation can be accessed on the HESC Web site at www.hesc.org.
The public hearing will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in Hamilton Hearing Room B of the Legislative Office Building, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY.
Individuals and organizations wishing to speak at these hearings should register in advance by using the online registration form found on HESC's Web site by close of business Aug. 27, 2009.
