DELMAR, NY (01/21/2015)(readMedia)-- NYSARC, Inc., the largest nonprofit organization of its kind in the nation supporting individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families, announces the promotion of Tania F. Seaburg to Chief Policy and Operations Officer.

In her new role, she will work with NYSARC's Executive Director in overseeing implementation of the Organization's strategic goals and objectives, advancing a comprehensive advocacy agenda, and leading policy programs and operational departments. She will be part of the executive leadership team and work closely with the NYSARC Board of Governors on behalf of the families of the NYSARC community.

With NYSARC for the past 10 years, Seaburg previously served as Senior Associate Executive Director for Advocacy. In that role, she provided supervision and support in connection with the NYSARC Trust Services Department, the Guardianship Program, the Compliance & Quality Assurance Program, and the Human Resources Department.

Steven Kroll, recently appointed NYSARC Executive Director, said, "It has been my pleasure to get to know Tania during my transition. Prior to joining NYSARC, she was an Associate in the health law department of the Albany firm Hinman Straub P.C. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Seaburg received her law degree from Albany Law School and her bachelor's degree from Valley Forge Christian College.

She resides in Voorheesville, NY, with her husband, Cory, and their three children.
