Nate Flagg Receives Final Convocation Award at Hampden-Sydney College

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (05/10/2013)(readMedia)-- At Final Convocation on April 25, Hampden-Sydney College freshman Nathan Thomas Flagg received the Rhetoric Essay Award, presented by Dr. Lizabeth A. Rand, Elliott Associate Professor of Rhetoric. The annual Rhetoric Essay contest began in 1996. Each year members of the Rhetoric staff award a prize for the best essay written in each of three Rhetoric classes. Nate's winning essay was entitled, "The Right Approach."

Nate is a pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School and is the son of Robert & Jane Flagg of Great Falls.
