National Association of Music Merchants Honors Lewis University Student Ava Pesavento
Lewis University music industry student Ava Pesavento was awarded a Lamond GenNext Award from the National Association of Music Merchants. This competitive award honors college students who demonstrate excellence in the field of music, encompassing performance, business, and event technology, among others.
Honorees receive a complimentary badge to attend the NAMM Show, as well as a stipend to help offset expenses for travel to The NAMM Show from January 20-24, 2026, in Anaheim, Calif. Founded in 1901, the NAMM Show is the premier trade show for music products and sound technology.
As an award recipient, Pesavento will participate in professional development sessions, networking events, and special gatherings, and will also have access to the tradeshow floor to explore exhibits featuring music products, professional audio, and live event technology.
The Lamond GenNext Award supports students enrolled in a two- or four-year college, university, or technical program who are preparing for a career in the music, sound, and entertainment technology industry.
