Naynay Clark Named NACC South Division Honorable Mention

The RU women's basketball team had a pair of players recognized on Friday morning when the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its 2020-21 All-NACC Teams. Naynay Clark was named NACC South Division Honorable Mention in her first season as a Regent, and Neve Yerk was selected NACC South Division Honorable Mention for the first time in her career. This marks the first time that Rockford has had multiple individuals receive postseason awards from the NACC in a year since the 2016-17 season.

Neve Yerk was selected NACC South Division Honorable Mention for the first time as a Regent. Yerk finished the year as the Regents' top rebounder and was a force on the defensive end of the floor. Yerk led Rockford in rebounds per game (7.0), defensive rebounds per game (5.4), blocks per game (1.8) and steals per game (1.4). She also chipped in 5.0 points per game and 1.6 offensive rebounds per game. Yerk's best performance of the year also came against Dominican when she scored a season-high 13 points, had 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals.
