ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

Married couple Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis have been named "THE face of kindie music" by The Washington Post, "SUPERSTARS" by Red Tricycle,"The Rolling Stones of Kids Music" by the Style Network, and People Magazine called their album A Potluck "the #1 in COOLEST kids music! The sound they create has an indie music feel that's rooted in their whimsical child-friendly imaginations."

The songs included on the band' five award-winning recordings present a musical style that is aimed at exploring all of the excitement and wonder of a young person's life. After Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band teamed up with visual artist Micah Player, their 2011 video "Blue Bear" became a hit sensation. The song appeared on their very first EP, Luckiest Adventure, and enjoyed the #1 position on SiriusXM Satellite Radio for many weeks in 2010. By 2011, USA Today was calling them the best new band for kids. In 2012, the band released A Potluck, which People Magazine reviewed as the #1 new children's album of the year. Their new songs enjoyed heavy radio rotation nationwide, and A Potluck earned a Parents' Choice Gold Award, a National Parenting Publications Award, and many other kudos by year's end.

Next, Latin GRAMMY Award-winning, ¡Fantastico!, translated the band's hit "Blue Bear" into "Oso Azul" and re-introduced songs like "Say What?" as "¿Que Dices?" (also a #1 hit on SiriusXM). Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band's Spanish language release found a new audience of parents looking to immerse their youngest listeners in bilingual music.

The year 2013 saw great commercial success for the band. Iconic brand Coca-Cola chose their song "Falling" for its national summer campaign. The duo showcased at Kindiefest, the family music conference at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM); spent the summer touring, including sold-out shows at the Smithsonian, the Los Angeles Book Festival's Target Stage, Skirball Cultural Center, New York City's Symphony Space, and Madison Square Park; and appeared on CNN, Univision, PBS, and Sprout TV's "Sunny Side Up Show."

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band are also brand partners with GAP, Whole Foods, LEGO, USO, and Discmakers. They have been featured in Apartment Therapy, Los Angeles Living Magazine, Los Angeles Daily News, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, as well as on E! TV and Style Network.

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band also features a guest rotation of talented musicians including musical director Wes Switzer, multi-instrumentalist Michael Farkas (of WIYOS fame), Michael Klooster (Smashmouth), Kurtis Keber, Deacon Marrquin, and Gee Rabe.

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band is on the fringe of anything that speaks to kids and families alike. Their music brings crafty, smart lyrics with a fresh pop feel. Like Zooglobble states, "It'll take you all of about 15 minutes to become a fan of Lucky Diaz."
