New Brighton Native Matt Schafer Advances to Division III National Championships
SAINT PAUL, MN (06/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Bethel University Matt Schafer of New Brighton, Minn., advanced to the Division III National Track and Field Championships for the second straight year. Bethel's men's track and field team took several athletes to compete in a last chance national qualifier meet at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. After the 800-meter competition, Schafer now ranks 22nd in the nation.
