AIKEN, SC (12/03/2018) The University of South Carolina Aiken announced Liz Dille as its assistant director of student life - international programs.
"We are very pleased to have Liz on our campus in this vital role," said Ahmed Samaha, interim vice chancellor for student life and services.
"Currently, we have students from 38 countries represented in our student body. Her extensive experience in international programs allows Liz to give these students the critical support and guidance they need and deserve."
She joins the Pacer team after serving in a similar capacity at Mercer University where she was the associate director of international programs. Before that, she was at Presbyterian College where she was the assistant director of international programs.
Dille is active in the National Association of International Educators and serves on the regional leadership team for the organization.
"Liz has a tremendous knowledge of the immigration and visa process and associated laws, which will serve our campus well," Samaha said.
"Additionally, she has a passion for study abroad programs and will work to expand those opportunities for our students."
In December, Dille will lead a team of students and faculty who will travel to India as part of a two-week exchange program.
