New Officers Named for WKCTC Foundation

PADUCAH, KY (08/04/2017) John D. Williams of Paducah was recently elected to a third, one-year term as the chair of the Board of Trustees for Paducah Junior College (PJC) Inc., the foundation for West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

Williams, retired general manager of WPSD-TV, is a member of the 16-member board that oversees the foundation, which provides resources for the improvement and enhancement of educational opportunities in support of WKCTC. In addition to Williams, the PJC officers for 2017-2018 are vice chair Anne Gwinn, a retired attorney and owner of The Grand Lodge on Fifth; secretary Chris Black, president of Ray Black and Son; treasurer Lorraine Schramke, vice president and comptroller of The Larry Stovesand Automotive Group; and at-large member and community leader Ann Denton.

Other board members are Guthrie Allen, Bruce Brockenborough, Joe Framptom, Judge Jeff Hines, Dr. Wally Montgomery, Mike Sims, Teresa Spann, Dr. Bill Wheeler and Ken Wheeler. Paducah Mayor Brandi Harless, McCracken County Judge Executive Bob Leeper, WKCTC President Anton Reece and PJC Executive Director Lee Emmons serve as ex-officio board members. Emmons is also vice president of institutional advancement at WKCTC.
