ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (04/25/2013)(readMedia)-- Elizabethtown College playwriting students present original scripts April 25 and 26 during E-town New Playwrights Fest. Both nights, sponsored the the Department of Fine and Performing Art, Theatre Division, feature two unique bills with different playwrights, actors and directors. The events take place at 8 p.m. in the Tempest Theatre and are open to the public, but tickets are required.
The Thursday, April 25, performance features: "Mirror Mirror" by Jenell Abram (comedy), directed by Stephen Boyhont; "The Cure," by Kaitlin Koons (dystopian drama), directed by Keller Robinson; "Convenience," by Katie Pebley (drama), directed by Rachael McQuiggan; "The Problem(s) With Love These Days," by Taylor Luckenbill (comedy), directed by Colin Jones.
The Friday, April 26 performance features: "Ducks on the Pond," by Andrew Herm (comedy), directed by Mike Wawrzynek; "Deep Diver," by Allison Rohland (drama), directed by John Rohrkemper; "The Canoe in Jamaica," by Lauren Cull (comedy), directed by Taylor Luckenbill; "Reflection," by Mike Wawrzynek (drama), directed by Katie Owens; "The Things I Could Forget," by Amy Schultze (comedy), directed by Laura Grube.
