LATHAM, NY (08/22/2014)(readMedia)-- New York Army National Guard Second Lieutenant Darren J. Hagan of New Windsor, N.Y. graduated from Officer Candidate School on August 16.
He was sworn in as a 2nd Lt. by Maj. Gen. Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General during a ceremony at Camp Smith, Peekskill, N.Y.
His new rank was pinned on by New York Army National Guard Maj. Brian Higgins and retired Col. Brian Johnson
Hagan has been a member of the National Guard since 2011 and will serve as Military Intelligence Officer assigned to Headquarters 53rd Troop Command, Peekskill, N.Y.
