New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Announces 2007 Annual Meeting

TROY, NY (04/16/2007)(readMedia)-- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association announced today that its 2007 annual meeting will be held on Saturday, June 9th at the Wallkill Rod & Gun Club (316 Bruyn Turnpike, Wallkill, NY). The event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.00, and include a "chicken bake" dinner.

The meeting will include an NRA "mix and mingle" event featuring guest speaker and NRA Vice President John Sigler. Display booths will include NYSRPA, NRA, NSSF, NRA - Women on Target program, National Wild Turkey Federation, NRA - Women in the Outdoors program, Colt Collector, Cutting Edge Collector, E.A.R. Inc., and NYSDEC.

Women in the shooting sports will be a featured theme. In addition to the Women on Target and Women in the Outdoors booths, there will be a seminar on "How to Conduct a Woman's Shooting Event at Your Club," and an Open Forum on Women in the Shooting Sports.

Shooting events will include a PAC fundraiser featuring new and interesting firearms, 5 Stand Sporting Clays, and air rifle for juniors.
