New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Endorses Steve McLaughlin for State Assembly

TROY, NY (10/08/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, the state's largest 2nd Amendment advocacy organization, announces the endorsement of Steve McLaughlin for State Assembly in District 108.

"Steve McLaughlin respects the 2nd Amendment. He will work to protect our civil rights," said Thomas H. King, President of NYSRPA.

In contrast, his opponent Tim Gordon's record shows that he simply cannot be counted on to do that. "Half the time he supports us and half the time he doesn't," said King. "Trying to play both sides is just plain lame. You either support our civil rights or you don't."

Solid leadership is needed in the Assembly, not a weather vane. Therefore NYSRPA encourage all gun owners to support Steve McLaughlin on election day.
