New York Times Best Selling Author Tom Franklin featured at USC Sumter's Writer Series

SUMTER, SC (09/13/2017) The Center for Oral Narrative at the University of South Carolina Sumter is proud to present a reading and discussion with Tom Franklin about his book Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter on Wedensday, October 4, 2017 in the Arts and Letters Lecture Hall at noon and again at 7:00 p.m. in the evening. This is a free event open to the public and is intended for mature audiences.

Franklin is the New York Times bestselling author of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter, which was nominated for nine awards and won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the prestigious Crime Writers' Association's Gold Dagger Award. His previous works include the Edgar Award-winning story "Poachers," from the collection under the same title, as well as Hell at the Breech, Smonk and The Tilted World, co-authored with Beth Ann Fennelly. Winner of a 2001 Guggenheim Fellowship, Franklin teaches in the University of Mississippi's Master of Fine Arts program.
