Newton Woman Takes Major Wins in Hooked Rug Contest at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/14/2016)(readMedia)-- Joanne Thomason of Newton won Best of Show Honors and Karen Casten of Ames won the Sweepstakes award in the Hooked Rugs division of the Fabric and Threads contest that was judged prior to the start of the 2016 Iowa State Fair.
