Nora Serres of Duxbury chosen as the Emerging Volunteer of the Year for the St. Olaf College Volunteer Network

Student honored at Outstanding Leadership Awards Program

NORTHFIELD, MN (04/28/2014)(readMedia)-- Nora Serres '16 of Duxbury was recognized as the "Emerging Volunteer of the Year" at the recent Outstanding Leadership Awards Program at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

This award was given through the St. Olaf Volunteer Network. The Volunteer Network currently supports 31 volunteer organizations on campus. So far this year, these student-led organizations have logged a total of 19,456 volunteer hours.

Serres was recognized for her dedication to the Supporting Special Needs organization.

She is a graduate of Duxbury Jr. Sr. High School and the daughter of Rodney and Margrethe Serres.
