WHERE: Mayor's Park pavilion, Sweeney Street, North Tonawanda

WHAT: The "North Tonawanda Canal Clean Sweep" is part of statewide efforts for clean-up projects along the Erie Canal.

WHY: As part of the annual celebration of Earth Day, the North Tonawanda Waterfront Commission and Kissling Interests, LLC, invite volunteers to join with North Tonawanda High School students, Niagara Frontier Boat Racing Association members, and others to clean up at Mayor's Park, the Service Drive canal front, and other locations. Lunch will follow the clean up in Mayor's Park courtesy of Mayor Robert Ortt.
