In an effort to reduce the price of books for students, some Northwest courses use electronic textbooks or eBooks. eBooks will be available through Northwest's CANVAS system the first day of class. The eBook can be accessed at any time after downloading it to a device, even when students have no Internet connection. Students whose courses use eBooks will be assessed the fee for the book when they complete their registration. If students would like a hard copy of the entire textbook, there will be black and white loose-bound books available for purchase in the Bookstore.
As of this date, all Northwest residence halls are full, and there is a waiting list, according to the Northwest Housing Office.
