SENATOBIA, MS (10/23/2017) The Northwest Mississippi Community College's November art exhibition will feature the works of Andrew McIntyre.
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5-7 p.m., and the exhibition will run from Nov. 6 - 24 in the Northwest Art Gallery on the Senatobia campus.
McIntyre was born in Jackson. He began making pots at age 11. He earned his Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Ceramics and his Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University. His work has earned him honors in national clay exhibitions, such as Strictly Functional, Starbrick National Cup Show and 8 Fluid Ounces. McIntyre currently works as a ceramic instructor and ceramic technician at Ole Miss.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. - noon, Fridays. Admission to the gallery is free.
