Notre Dame de Namur University Student Ashley Novosad Receives Leadership Award

BELMONT, CA (03/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Ashley Novosad of Sunnyvale, CA, received the Outstanding Student Leader Award at the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA) Region II Conference, which was held February 24–26 in Riverside, CA. Novosad is a graduate of Fremont High School.
Novosad, a senior, was one of two students in NODA Region II (California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii) to receive this award. The award recognizes students whose creativity, energy and outstanding abilities help support a successful orientation program.
Novosad has been on the Orientation Team at Notre Dame de Namur University since February 2009 and joined the Orientation Team Board in October 2010. She also mentors first-generation students and is a resident assistant.
