Nyameye Adom and Tyson Cruickshank earn All-CCIW recognition in men's basketball

The Wheaton men's basketball program placed two players on the 2019-20 All-CCIW Team, announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Nyamaeye Adom picked up a unanimous First Team All-CCIW honor with fellow sophomore Tyson Cruickshank earning Second Team recognition.

Cruickshank earns his first career All-CCIW recognition with a Second Team nod. The sophomore guard is averaging 14.8 points per game this season. Cruickshank is second on the team with an average of 5.9 rebounds per game and also second on the squad in assists with 3.0 per game. He leads the Thunder in steals with an average of 1.0 steals per game.

In Wheaton's 16 CCIW games this season Cruickshank posted an average of 14.1 points per game and he shot 47.3% (79-of-167) from the field. He averaged 6.2 rebounds per game against league foes. He also averaged 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game in conference play.
