Adom's recognition as a Third Team All-Region performer marks the 21st time that a Wheaton player has been named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Team since the website began its All-Region awards in 2001-02. Wheaton has had at least one player on the D3hoops.com All-Region Team in 17 of the 19 seasons that website has had the All-Region recognitions.
A unanimous All-CCIW honoree this season, Adom had a breakout sophomore campaign. He is averaging a team-best 18.7 points per game this season, a mark that ranked second in the league. He posted a 46.4% (178-of-384) field goal percentage, including 42.1% (32-of-76) from three-point range, this season. Adom shot 77.3% (99-of-128) at the free throw line.
He led the Thunder with 3.7 assists per game and has averaged 4.2 rebounds per game this season. He ranked in the CCIW top-10 in field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, assists and free throw percentage in his sophomore campaign.

His 46.2% (102-of-221) field goal percentage in league games ranked third in the league, and his 46.5% (20-of-43) three-point field goal percentage in league play ranked third.
