O'Donnell receives Higginbotham Scholarship at ECU

Taylor O'Donnell, right of Carney, received the Higginbotham Family Education Scholarship during the East Central University Department of Education's 2019 Spring Awards Luncheon. Pictured with O'Donnell is Dr. Phyllis Isaacs, associate professor of education. This scholarship is awarded to a senior or graduate who displays leadership qualities and has at least a 3.0 GPA. Dorothy Higginbotham was an ECU alumna, who understood and recognized the value of higher education and established this scholarship as part of her estate planning.
