What: Commissioner Hogan will announce the Russian language version of New York State’s acclaimed Suicide Prevention, Education and Awareness Kit (SPEAK). Depression is one of the most pervasive mental health problems affecting the health and well being of Americans, including Russian Americans. Research has shown that suicide prevention and early intervention efforts are successful at saving lives, and SPEAK’s education and outreach help to ensure that people can recognize, and get help for, a person in danger of taking his or her own life
