OPRHP Kicks off Master Planning Project for Green Lakes State Park
ALBANY, NY (06/25/2009)(readMedia)-- The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) Central Region will be holding a public information meeting regarding the preparation of a Draft Master Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Green Lakes State Park. State Parks encourages the public to participate in the planning efforts for Green Lakes State Park and welcomes all comments and suggestions.
The meeting will be held at Pine Grove Middle School in the cafeteria on July 7, 2009 at 7:00 PM.
State Parks' staff will make a brief presentation about the master planning process and the park. They will also be available to answer questions and receive public comments.
All persons interested in Green Lakes State Park are urged to attend; those who cannot may submit written comments by August 7, 2009 to:
