Olabisi Alabi of Hyattsville Performs in Washington College Chorus Concert

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Olabisi Alabi '16 of Hyattsville, MD recently performed as a second soprano in the Washington College Chorus' spring concert, "History of Rock Opera," conducted by Lecturer in Music Douglas Byerly.
Alabi is double majoring in political science and philosophy with a minor in creative writing. She is a part of the College Democrats, the Black Student Union, Cleopatra's Sisters, Music Collegium, the Campus Methodist Ministry and the Poetry Club. She also works as a media assistant in the Office of College Relations and Marketing. Alabi graduated from High Point High School.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
