Olivia Morin of Springfield receives nursing award from Elms College

CHICOPEE, MA (05/18/2010)(readMedia)-- Olivia Morin of Springfield, Vermont, received the Catherine Guider Award at Elms College's annual Honors Convocation. The award recognizes a senior nursing student who has selflessly contributed time and effort to both the Elms College community and the community at large through "gentle, quiet ways." The award, established by Nancy Gilbert, assistant clinical professor of nursing, in memory of her grandmother, is to recognize the important work of nursing students.

Morin was awarded her bachelor of science degree in nursing at Elms Sunday, May 16.
