ALBANY, NY (09/23/2011)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Church is rallying churches, schools and colleges in the aftermath of Irene and Lee, with a record number of supplies sent to targeted areas. On Saturday September 24, Pastor Charlie will be sending a team of Loundonville Christian School students to Fultonville to help in the aid of clean-up relief; a large truck filled with aid supplies will be meeting the students at 1312 Central Ave in Colonie, (Victory Church) at 9:00 am to distribute much needed supplies to those residents in the Fultonville area.
On Monday September 26, Pastor Charlie will be meeting with Fire Chief Susan Bortell of the Calisle Fire Department in Schoharie County at the Jezreel Warehouse located at 10 Interstate Avenue in Albany. Chief Bortell has been assisting flood victims in that targeted area, with over 9 truckloads of food being distributed. Pastor Charlie will be discussing with Chief Bortall, options of distributing $500,000 worth of goods in targeted areas.
Pastor Charlie has been working hard to obtain finances to pay for gas and trucking of the aid, being distributed from the Capital District. At a cost of $9,000, over 500,000 worth of food and supplies have been shipped to the Capital relief Center.
With news of the Irene flood victims fading, Pastor Charlie is trying to gain momentum to help keep the effort alive.
