Ottawa Hills native committed to ending child hunger

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/02/2012)(readMedia)-- Ottawa Hills native Meghan Browne spent the summer as an intern in Washington D.C. at Share Our Strength through Whitman College. Share Our Strength is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child hunger in the United States. This fall, she is working with the Summer Meals Program in Walla Walla, WA, where she will help provide children with meals during the summer.

Browne is the daughter of Bradley and Darcy Browne from Ottawa Hills. She is a 2010 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School.

At Whitman, Brown is a junior anthropology and French studies major, and she is involved with a number of community service groups.
