Outreach Center To Open In Albany

ALBANY, NY (11/20/2023) (readMedia)-- New City Outreach center to open in former Victory Church located at 118 Quail Street in Albany. The new Victory Church Outreach Center will have a market style food pantry a resource center and a training center.

The new center will look to provide fresh fruits, vegetables and whole wheat bread. Healthy choices to help with the food desert issues. The resource center will provide assistance with all resources available for those in need. The training center will help train men women and children in many areas of life development.

The center will also continue a anti gun violence program that collects all non registered hand guns.

The church was forced to shut down a feeding center on first and Quail that the church ran for 25 years. With the continued gun violence and bullets shot inside the facility it had to close.

This new location will work hard in trying to shut down the gun violence through this new outreach center.

When: Wednesday November 22 10 AM Grand Opening serving fruits and vegetables and bread. Open 10 AM to 2 PM

On Thanksgiving day from 12 to 2 free meals to go and coat giveaway.
